Meeting Information
We would love to have you visit a Sigma Upsilon Omega Chapter meeting. Our in-person meetings are held the third Saturday of each month, excluding July and August. Sigma Upsilon Omega Chapter meetings are open ONLY to initiated members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Business attire is required at all regular chapter meetings.
First time visitors are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early as credentials and proof of membership is required and must be verified prior to entering the meeting.
You must present (1) of the following:

Your most recent membership card

Ivy Leaf magazine with name and address label attached

Certificate of membership
-
A transfer verification form from your respective chapter with required signatures
AND photo identification to the Doorkeeper upon arrival. Business attire is required for all chapter meetings unless otherwise noted.

Reactivate: Sigma Upsilon Omega welcomes existing members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® to reactivate with the sorority. We encourage and welcome inactive members to attend a meeting. You will get the opportunity to meet our chapter and learn more about Sigma Upsilon Omega Chapter.
Transfer: Sigma Upsilon Omega Chapter welcomes all members looking for a new chapter home. If you would like to transfer to Sigma Upsilon Omega from another chapter, or from being a general member, please contact our Membership Committee for further details.
